Resilience is learning that breaking rhythm is not the same as breaking completely.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

There is an enormous difference between missing a stretch and being finished. People abandon good things constantly because a break in continuity felt like proof that they were never serious, and one interrupted month gets treated as a verdict. Rhythm is easy to restart. Only the conclusion you draw from the interruption makes it permanent.

When you lose a routine, resume it at the smallest possible size rather than trying to make up the gap. Skip the reckoning about what the lapse means. The only meaningful question is whether the next session happens.
