Some of the most creative work in the world is somebody fixing a problem on their own block.

CREATIVITY
Big creative work gets associated with big stages, which hides most of what actually gets made. Somebody redesigning the sign-up sheet so the food bank runs smoother, somebody starting the group chat that becomes a repair crew, somebody painting one wall until people stop dumping there. Those are design problems with real constraints and real users. The scale is small and the thinking is not.
Pick one thing near you that annoys everybody and treat it as a brief. Ask three people what they would change, make the cheapest version of a fix, and try it. Local is where you can see whether your idea worked.
What problem on your street could you actually fix?
