Growth is getting the same feedback twice and finally hearing it the second time.

Hearing and receiving are two different events. The first time a criticism lands you are mostly defending, running through the reasons it is unfair, and almost none of the content gets in. Later, sometimes much later, the same words arrive and make complete sense, because you finally have the room to hold them. That gap is not stupidity, it is how most people learn anything.

Think of one thing you have been told more than once, by different people. Treat it as accurate for a week and act accordingly. You will not need a third time.
