Learning isn’t a phase that ends when you get your diploma.

School makes learning look like a phase with a finish line, something you complete and then receive a document for. The habit was always the valuable part. People who keep it running can change direction at forty, while everyone else is working with whatever they knew at twenty-two. Leaving school does not end the need to be a beginner.

Pick something to be actively bad at right now, outside anything you are graded on. A language, an instrument, a repair skill. Twenty minutes a few times a week is enough to keep the habit alive.
