Visible change is a result announced later. The actual version is a series of small, unwitnessed decisions made when you are tired and nobody would know either way. Late evening is where most of them happen, because that is when the day stops supervising you. Those hours decide more than the ambitious mornings do.

Pick one thing you will decide in advance about tonight, so you are not negotiating at eleven. Put the phone in another room, or set out what tomorrow needs. Repeat that single decision for a week and watch what changes without anyone noticing.
