Create something other people can strengthen after touching it.

LEADERSHIP
Work that can be strengthened by others has room in it, deliberate space where someone can add without having to first undo. Work that is finished to the last detail, or held together by reasoning only you understand, resists improvement even from people who want to help. The difference is not talent. It is whether you left handles.
When you finish something, ask where the next person would begin. Make that place obvious and leave it clean. What you lose in polish you gain in everything the work can become.
What have you made that someone else could improve?
