Being part of a team means your bad day gets carried and your good day gets shared. That trade is worth it.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Joining anything real costs you some independence. You show up when you do not feel like it, and your mistakes land on other people instead of staying with you. What comes back is that the arrangement runs both ways, so a bad game gets absorbed by ten other people rather than sitting on you alone, and a good one gets louder because somebody else was there to see it.

Test both directions this week. Tell a teammate about something that went well instead of playing it down, and say out loud when a day was rough.
