Presentation does an enormous amount of work in what you end up believing. The same person, cut differently, scored differently, frozen on the wrong frame, becomes a villain in about four seconds. Nothing about them changed. Everything about the framing did, and framing is cheap and easy to manipulate.
When a clip makes you certain about a stranger, notice how fast the certainty arrived and treat that speed as suspicious. Look for the longer version before you form an opinion, and definitely before you repeat it to anybody else.
