If a friend calls everything you do amazing, their “amazing” stops meaning anything.

Praise that arrives no matter what you made stops carrying information. A friend who loves everything is being kind, and kind is unusable, because you still have no idea whether the thing is any good. Worse, their reaction to the work you poured months into looks identical to their reaction to the throwaway. You end up with plenty of support and no signal.

Ask a sharper question: what is the weakest part of this. Give people room to answer honestly and thank them when they do. Keep at least one person whose yes means something because their no exists.
