The body keeps records of schedules the ego insists are manageable.

Your schedule can be defended in conversation for a long time. It cannot be defended to your body, which is keeping a plain and unsentimental record of the sleep lost, the meals skipped, and the months without a break. The account eventually gets presented, usually at an inconvenient moment and without warning, and the ego’s assessment carries no weight in that conversation.
Look at the parts of your routine you most reliably justify to other people. Those are usually the ones worth examining. Check them against how you actually feel rather than against how reasonable they sound.
What have you called manageable that has quietly worn you down?
