If you wait until you feel like it, your mood becomes the manager and you become the intern.

LEADERSHIP
Handing the schedule to how you feel puts the least reliable part of you in charge of everything else. Moods arrive for reasons that have nothing to do with the work, and they do not consult your deadlines or your plans. Whatever you let decide is the thing actually running your life, and feelings make a poor supervisor.
Put the decision somewhere it cannot be revised hourly. A fixed time, a booked session, a person expecting you. Then let the mood be whatever it is while the work happens anyway.
What has your mood been allowed to decide lately?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
