You don’t need a plane ticket to go on a mission. Your block needs Jesus too.

A mission gets imagined as somewhere else, which conveniently postpones it and makes the local version seem too small to count. The people nearest you, on your street, in your classes, at your job, are as real as anyone at a distance, and you already have access, language and context there. Going far is legitimate, and it is not the entry requirement.

Name three people within walking distance whose lives you actually know something about. Do one useful thing for one of them this week. Start where you already are rather than where it sounds impressive.
