REFLECTION
REFLECTION
A private message is written with an audience of one in mind, and its tone only makes sense in that setting. Photographing it moves the words into a room they were not written for, where readers lack the context and judge accordingly. What breaks is rarely the sender’s reputation. It is their willingness to be honest with anybody again.
Keep what is sent to you where it was sent. If you need advice about a conversation, describe the situation without reproducing the text. People who know you do this end up telling you things.
What did someone tell you that you almost passed along?
