Carrying everyone is noble until your arms give out. Teach people to carry their own bag.

REFLECTION
Doing everything for people looks like generosity and often works as a trade: you get to be needed, they get to stay dependent, and the arrangement holds right up until you run out. It also takes from them the part where they learn. Help that never transfers a skill is a loan that keeps getting rewritten.
Take one thing you always handle and walk someone else through it instead. Let them do it clumsily the first time. The fifteen minutes of awkwardness buys back hours you have been quietly spending for months.
Whose bag have you been carrying that they could hold?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
