A tree without leaves in January isn’t dying. It’s between seasons. So are you, maybe.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

A dormant thing and a dead thing look identical from outside. What is happening under the bark in winter is not failure, it is a different phase of the same process, with the visible parts withdrawn so the rest can hold. Periods in a life work the same way, and they are easiest to misread while you are inside one.

If very little seems to be happening right now, check whether the work has moved somewhere you cannot see it. Keep the basics going and let the season be what it is. Not every stretch is meant to produce something visible.
