You can make money back. Nobody has ever figured out how to earn back a Sunday.

Money and time behave differently and get treated as though they were the same resource. One is recoverable, and a bad financial year can be followed by a better one; the other moves in a single direction, and a Sunday spent badly is simply gone. People routinely trade the irreplaceable one for the replaceable one because only the second has a visible number attached.
When something asks for your weekend in exchange for money, price the weekend honestly instead of treating it as free. Sometimes the trade is clearly worth it. Making the exchange visible is what stops it from happening by default.
What did you trade a free day for recently?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
