Waiting for credentials is often a respectable way of delaying. Qualifications matter for some jobs and for very little else, and for most of what you want to attempt, the permission you are waiting on does not exist and nobody will issue it. What separates people who do things from people who intend to is a date. Everything else is preparation for preparation.

Take the thing you have been circling and give it a day this week. Write the date down somewhere you will see it. Start badly on that day, because starting badly is still the entire difference.
