More houseplants get drowned by nervous owners than dried out by lazy ones. Some things need you to back off.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Anxious care is still anxious. Attention given out of worry tends to be too frequent and too heavy, and the damage it does is harder to spot because it looks like diligence. Plenty of things fail not from neglect but from being checked, adjusted and interfered with more than they can tolerate.
Look for where your involvement has become nervous rather than useful. A project, a friendship, an application you have sent. Decide on a reasonable interval and hold to it, even when the urge to check arrives early. Doing less on purpose is a real action, not the absence of one.
What are you tending so closely that it cannot grow?
