The label someone slapped on you in sixth grade has no authority over you now. Peel it off.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

A label given to you at twelve keeps working long after everyone involved has forgotten it, because you start selecting evidence for it and turning down things it says you are not. It never carried real weight. It was a passing description from someone with a partial view, and it hardened only because nobody thought to remove it.

Name the label plainly and ask when it was last actually true. Then take one action this month that the label says you would not, chosen deliberately. Labels come off through contradiction rather than argument.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Which old label still shapes how you introduce yourself?
