Maturity is accepting that some questions stay complicated even after you become the adult.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Childhood carries an assumption that adults have access to answers, and that the confusion is a temporary condition of being young. Then you become the adult and find that some questions do not resolve: how to help someone who will not be helped, what you owe your family, what to do when two right things conflict. Nobody was ever holding the answer.
When you are stuck on something like this, stop treating your uncertainty as a sign of failure. Aim for a decision you can defend rather than one that is clearly correct, talk it through with someone who has faced it, and accept that you will act without the certainty you were promised.
Which question have you carried unresolved into adulthood?
