The best teams aren’t the ones with a perfect plan. They’re the ones who fix it at halftime.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
No plan survives first contact with reality, so the useful skill is not planning better but adjusting faster. Teams that do well are usually the ones willing to say out loud that the approach is not working and change it while there is still time. That takes enough honesty to admit the first idea was wrong.
Halfway through your next project, stop and ask what is not working. Change one thing rather than waiting for the end to review it. A plan is a starting position, and treating it as a promise is what makes people ride a bad one all the way down.
What would you change if you adjusted your plan today?
