Mentors notice who actually tried the advice. The ones who report back get the next piece.

LEADERSHIP
Whoever gives you guidance is quietly watching what happens to it. Advice that vanishes teaches the giver that their effort was decorative, and they stop spending it, usually without ever saying why the conversations dried up. Coming back with a result, even a failure, tells them the investment is going somewhere.
Take one suggestion you were given recently and actually try it this week. Then go back and say what happened, including the parts that did not work. That single loop is what turns a one-off conversation into someone who keeps helping you for years.
Whose advice did you take and never report back on?
