Cringing at an older version of yourself is a good sign in an uncomfortable costume. The discomfort exists because you can now see something that person could not, which is exactly what growth looks like from the inside. If nothing from three years ago made you wince, that would be the worrying result.

Resist the urge to erase all of it. Keep a few pieces as evidence of the distance covered. And read it forward too: the you of three years from now will wince at today, and that will also be fine.
