Holding a charged hose takes your whole body and a partner. Some pressure is too strong to handle with just your arms.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Certain loads are not sized for one person, and no amount of grip closes the gap. The mistake is reading that as weakness, when it is a fact about the pressure rather than about you. People who do this for a living never attempt it alone, because the job is specified for two. Asking for a second pair of hands is part of the technique.

Name the thing you are currently trying to hold with your arms alone. Then name one person who could take some of it. Tell them the specific part you need, which is far easier to answer than a general sense that things are hard.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Which load are you carrying that clearly needs a partner?
