Tapping out isn’t quitting. It’s choosing to come back tomorrow with both arms working.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
A tap is a decision about a specific position, not a statement about your character. The whole arrangement exists so that people can train hard for years instead of being wrecked once. Refusing buys you nothing except a longer absence, and absence is the one thing that genuinely stops you improving. Stopping early is often the move that keeps the rest of the season available.
Decide where your line is while you are calm, rather than in the middle of something going wrong. One for training, one for a shift, one for a week that is going badly. Naming it beforehand makes using it feel like a plan.
When did stopping early let you return the next day?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
