Most pressure comes with a deadline. Remember it ends, and so does the feeling.

RESILIENCE
A lot of what makes pressure unbearable is a quiet assumption that this is simply how things are now. Almost all of it is attached to a date. The exam is Monday, the season ends in March, the shift finishes at ten, and the feeling goes when the thing goes, usually faster than you would believe from inside it. Knowing the end date changes what you are actually being asked to carry.
Write down the date the current pressure ends and put it somewhere you will see it. Then count the days, which is nearly always a smaller number than the feeling suggests.
What date does your current pressure actually end on?
