Resilience is less about how much you can take and more about how fast you ask for backup.

RESILIENCE

WHAT THIS MEANS

Toughness gets described as capacity, as though the point were how much weight you can hold before you drop it. The people who last are usually the ones who call for help early, while the problem is still small enough that a hand actually fixes it. Speed of asking is the part you can train. Raw endurance mostly decides how bad things get first.

Think of something you have been quietly carrying for more than a week. Name the one person who could take a piece of it, and ask them in plain words before the weekend. If asking feels like failing, notice that the feeling is not evidence.
