Text in anger and you’ll spend tomorrow apologizing for the tone, not the point.
RESILIENCE
RESILIENCE
Anger is good at volume and bad at wording. What comes out carries the heat instead of the complaint, so the person reading it answers how it felt rather than what you meant. By tomorrow you are defending your delivery, and the actual point, which may have been fair, never gets heard at all.
Write it if you need to, in your notes rather than the chat. Come back an hour later and keep only the sentence that says what happened and what you want. If it still needs saying, say it on the phone or in person, where a tone can be repaired while you talk.
What message would you rewrite if you had waited an hour?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
