Change starts becoming real when your environment notices before you announce it.

CREATIVITY
Real change shows up in behaviour before it shows up in your own account of yourself, so other people often notice first. They see the different response, the thing you no longer do, the way you handle something that used to derail you. That is a better indicator than any internal sense of progress, which tends to lag or exaggerate. It also means announcing is unnecessary.
Stop checking whether you feel changed and watch what you actually do under pressure. Let the evidence come from your behaviour. Announcing a change tends to reduce the incentive to complete it.
