Sitting in the back row is fine. Just don’t let the back row become a hiding spot for years.

The back row is a legitimate place to sit and a dangerous place to settle. Early on it is sensible, a way to watch, to work out what happens, to be somewhere without being on display. The trouble is that it is comfortable, and comfort turns a temporary position into a permanent one. Years can pass in a seat you originally chose for a month.
If you have been at the back a while, move up a few rows this week, or stay where you are and speak to one person before you leave. Small, but it ends the hiding.
How long have you been in the back row now?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
