The life you want may begin with an ending you keep trying to prevent.

CREATIVITY
Some good things cannot begin until something else finishes, and the ending is usually the part being resisted. A relationship, a job, a self-image, or a plan that no longer fits can occupy exactly the space the next thing would need. The resistance is understandable, since endings are painful and the next thing is not visible yet. It does not stop being the obstacle.
Ask what you are working to prevent from ending, and whether it is genuinely worth preserving or just familiar. If it needs to end, consider what a slow, careful version of that ending would look like. You do not have to know what comes next in order to close something.
