Stop confusing consistency with staying the same.

Consistency lives in your direction and your values, not in your opinions, your habits, or the shape of your days. People conflate the two because sameness is easy to verify from the outside, while genuine steadiness is invisible. The result is that changing your mind gets treated as a betrayal, when often it is the most faithful thing you could do to what you actually care about.

Ask what in you is meant to hold and what was only ever scaffolding. Then let yourself update the scaffolding without apology. Reliability means people can trust who you are, not that they can predict every move.
