A door that’s only yours is a luxury. If you have one, you’re further ahead than you think.

A room with a door you control is a resource rather than a given. Space to be unobserved is where you think, sulk, work and recover, and plenty of people your age share every square foot of their life with somebody else. If you have it, you have something that is quietly shaping what you are able to do. Better to know that than to assume it.
Use the privacy this week for something that needs it, not only for scrolling. And if somebody you know has nowhere of their own, your room is a thing you can lend for an afternoon.
What private space do you have that others would want?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
