A new place takes months to feel normal. Judge the city at month six, not week one.

CREATIVITY
Week one measures the strain of being new, not the quality of the place. Everything costs effort at that stage, including walking to the shop, and the tiredness gets filed as a verdict on the city rather than as the price of not knowing anything yet. Give it long enough and the same streets become background.
So pick a date around six months out and refuse the question until you get there. In the meantime keep a note of the good days, since you will forget them. At month six, read the note and decide properly.
What are you judging after a week instead of months?
