Quitting a job that’s wearing you down isn’t weakness if you leave well: notice given, bridges still standing.

How you leave outlasts the job itself. The shifts fade quickly and the manner of going does not: whether you gave warning, whether you worked the last week properly, whether somebody would have you back. Leaving because something is grinding you down is not weakness, and doing it badly is the only part that costs you.
So give proper notice in person, work your remaining shifts the way you did the good ones, and offer to show the next person the ropes. Say thanks on the way out. Those three things take a week and last years.
How would you leave a job with the bridges intact?
