The caterpillar cannot keep every comfort and still become the butterfly.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Nothing becomes something else while keeping every comfort of what it was. Change asks for actual surrender, not just addition, and the parts you have to release are usually the ones that feel most like safety. That is why so many transformations stall halfway: you want the new shape, but you keep negotiating to hold on to the old warmth alongside it.

Name the one comfort you are quietly refusing to give up in exchange for what you say you want. You do not have to release it today. But be honest with yourself that keeping it and getting the other thing may not both be available.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Which comfort are you unwilling to trade for what you want next?
