A breakup is a hard way to learn what you need. It still counts as learning.

CREATIVITY
Some things about yourself only become visible through the absence of them. What you needed and were not getting, what you gave away without noticing, which parts of the week you had stopped choosing: none of that shows up clearly until it ends. The lesson is real even though the method was awful, and you do not have to be grateful for it.
When the worst of it has passed, write down two things you now know you need. Keep the list private and specific rather than a statement about people in general. Read it the next time something begins.
What did an ending teach you about what you actually need?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
