Some things you have to grow into: your feet, your laugh, your name, your confidence.

CREATIVITY
A few things fit badly for years and then suddenly fit. A name that felt borrowed, a laugh you tried to muffle, a body that seemed to be mostly feet: none of it needed fixing, it needed time and use. Confidence belongs on the same list, which is why trying to manufacture it early rarely convinces anyone.
Instead of forcing the parts that are still arriving, give them ordinary use. Say your full name when you introduce yourself, laugh at full volume once, wear the thing you think you cannot pull off. Fit comes from wear rather than from waiting.
What are you still growing into rather than fixing?
