Who you are under pressure is partly who you practiced being when there wasn’t any.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Pressure does not build character so much as reveal what has already been rehearsed. In a tight game or a hard conversation there is no time to choose, so you reach for whatever you have done a thousand times in the ordinary hours. That is why how you speak to your family on a boring Wednesday matters more than it seems. Your default is whatever shows up when thinking stops.
Pick one habit you want available when it counts: the breath before answering, the honest version, finishing the set. Practise it this week at low stakes, when nothing is riding on it at all.
What are you rehearsing on the easy days for the hard ones?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
