Ice can hold a truck or crack under a kid depending on how thick it got. Trust gets thick slowly.
CREATIVITY
CREATIVITY
Strength comes from accumulated time rather than from intention. Thin ice and thick ice look much the same from above and behave completely differently under load, and trust is built the same way, in cold quiet layers of somebody doing what they said they would. You cannot speed that up by promising harder. Only repetition adds thickness.
Be careful how much weight you put on a new friendship, and give it a season rather than a week. Where you want somebody to trust you, do small reliable things and let them stack up. Test gently before you stand on it.
Whose trust are you still slowly building, week by week?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
