A river cuts through rock with sand and time, not muscle. Patience is a slow kind of force.

CREATIVITY

WHAT THIS MEANS

Force does not have to look like force. Water wins by coming back, not by hitting hard, and the rock loses to a million small arrivals it never bothered to fear. Most of what you want is like that rock. It will not move for one heroic afternoon, and it cannot hold out against something that keeps returning.

Pick the thing you have been trying to overpower. A jump shot, a chapter, a language. Give it a short visit every day this week instead of one long angry session, and keep the visits small enough that you will actually show up.

A QUESTION TO SIT WITH

Where are you forcing something that only time can wear down?
