A menu with eighty items makes ordering a burger feel like a final exam. Fewer choices can be a gift.

Fewer options can be an act of kindness. An enormous menu turns ordering a burger into an examination, because every extra choice is work, and the work gets done by whoever is trying to decide. You can inflict this on people without noticing when you ask a friend what they want to do and leave the whole world open.
Narrow it for somebody this week. Offer two plans instead of asking for ideas, bring one thing instead of a list of possibilities. Then do the same for yourself and cut a decision down to two.
Where would fewer options actually make your life easier?
