Limbo is miserable but it has an expiration date. Fill it with something besides staring at the clock.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
Being between things is uncomfortable in a way that waiting for something specific is not, because there is nothing to prepare for and no clear date to count toward. What makes it bearable is that this state is temporary by definition: the decision lands, the term ends, the news comes, and the limbo stops existing. The misery is real and it is not permanent.
Put something in the week that has nothing to do with what you are waiting on, so the days have a shape of their own. If there is no official end date, pick one for checking in with yourself.
What are you stuck waiting on, and what else fits there?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
