Trees grow differently depending on what reaches them.

A tree in the open grows wide and low; the same species in a dense wood grows tall and narrow reaching for light. Neither is deformed. The shape is a record of conditions, and you cannot read a tree’s character without reading the place it stood.
Apply that generosity to people, including yourself. What looks like a flaw is often an adaptation to something you cannot see. Before judging a shape, ask what it was reaching for and what was in the way.
What have you grown toward without ever deciding to?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
