Nature has no embarrassment about beginning small.

Every enormous tree was a seed, and nothing in the process treats the seed stage as humiliating. Beginning small is simply the only way anything begins. Our discomfort with visible beginnings is entirely social, and it stops a great many things from ever starting.

If you are hesitating because your version of something is small, start it small anyway and let it be seen or not. The alternative is not a grander beginning later; it is usually no beginning at all.
