Watch what you do in the first ten minutes after you get home. Collapse, snack, call someone? Routines are a self-portrait.
STILLNESS
STILLNESS
What you do before you decide to do anything is the honest part of your day. The first minutes at home happen below thinking, so they show what the day cost you and what you reach for to recover. Collapsing means something different from eating, and both mean something different from calling somebody. None is wrong, they are just information you have not looked at.
Watch yourself for three days and note the first thing each time. Then ask whether it helps or only fills the gap. If it does not help, swap one day’s version for something that does, a shower, ten minutes outside, food before the phone.
What are the first ten minutes after you get home like?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
