Ask whether you’re tired of the work or tired of the waiting. They have different fixes.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Two different exhaustions get the same word. Being tired of the work means the activity itself has stopped being worth it to you, and the honest answer might be changing something. Being tired of the waiting means you still want the thing and the lack of visible progress is wearing you down, which is a pacing problem rather than a reason to stop.

Ask which one it is, and be specific. Would you still want this if the result arrived next month. If yes, the fix is smaller milestones and more rest.
