Your worst mood isn’t your personality, but you’re still responsible for what it does.
REFLECTION
REFLECTION
Moods arrive without permission, and a bad one is not a confession about who you really are underneath. What it does to the people near you is still yours, because the snap and the silence happened whether or not you chose the feeling. Those two things sit together: you are not guilty of the mood, you are answerable for the behaviour.
When you can feel a bad hour coming, say so instead of letting it leak, and tell people you are in a foul mood. If it got out anyway, name it afterward without a long explanation. One plain repair, the same day, is usually all it takes.
Who got the worst of your mood and deserves an apology?
