Ask your teammates what you could do better. Then don’t argue with the answers.

REFLECTION

WHAT THIS MEANS

Teammates see the version of you that you cannot: where you stop running, how you are to pass to, what your face does when something goes wrong. Most of them will never volunteer it, because that conversation is awkward. Asking makes it safe for one minute, and arguing with the answer closes that window for good. People only tell you once if the first time costs them.

Ask two teammates this week, separately, for one thing you could do better. Say thank you, write it down and leave it there. Then pick whichever one both of them touched on and work on it where they can see.
