A considerate group changes the arrangement before making the person explain their whole life.

Access often gets treated as something to be earned through disclosure. The chair, the route, the earlier start, the quieter table becomes available only once someone accounts for their body, their history, or their circumstances in front of an audience. The cost of that explanation usually exceeds the cost of simply moving the furniture.
When somebody asks for a different arrangement, change it and skip the interview. Set things up so the request stays small and ordinary rather than becoming a confession. If you need a practical detail, ask that specific thing and nothing more.
What could you change so nobody has to explain themselves?
Free, with nothing to buy inside it.
